The East Devon AONB Community Project Fund has made a contribution to the following projects:

Budleigh Salterton Village Design Statement

Assistance with an exhibition and questionnaire production costs.

Otterton Village Design Statement

Assistance and support for the production of the document.

Conservation grazing at Uplyme

To re-establish a conservation grazing programme to a species rich meadow at Uplyme, also to include hedge bank restoration and tree planting.

Volunteer conservation tasks

BTCV volunteers to carry out practical management tasks on heathland within the AONB, working with local land managers and making a valuable contribution to the management of this internationally important habitat.

Heathland grazing  at Venn Ottery

To implement a grazing programme on the heathland site at Venn Ottery, a County Wildlife Site within the AONB.

Wildflower meadow at Uplyme

To implement a conservation project which enables sustainable management of a species rich pasture in Uplyme.

East Budleigh Britain in Bloom

To plant a copse of native silver birch in the recreation ground at East Budleigh with a view to planting native woodland flowers among the trees.

Wildlife pond at Shute

To create a wildlife pond at Shute.

Kissing gate at Soldiers Hill, Sidmouth

Sid Vale Association volunteers to replace a stile with a more user-friendly kissing gate on a permissive path.

Picnic tables for Whitford Common

To provide a bench and picnic tables for Whitford Common, adjacent to the River Axe.
