How has the East Devon AONB Sustainable Development Fund been used?
The Sustainable Development Fund is being used by a wide range of community groups, organisations and businesses to make a real difference to their local environment or the way in which they do carry out their activities. It is being used to deliver the aims and objectives of the East Devon AONB Management Plan.....to foster a living, working landscape. The grant is delivered by your local AONB team on behalf of Defra and the Natural England .
Currently, 2007/08 £64,800.04 of Sustainable Development Fund is supporting 14 different projects. Applications are now closed for the remainder of this year and the projects supported will be updated shortly.

In 2006/07 £72,000 of Sustainable Development Fund was awarded to 17different projects.
Including match and 'in-kind', a total of over £213,000 worth of projects have been delivered in the AONB.
In 2005/06 £95,554 of Sustainable Development Fund was awarded to 15 different projects.
Including match and 'in-kind', a total £186,093 has been brought in to the AONB.
