Walk 10. East Devon Way Stage 4, Knapp Copse to the Bowd linear 8 miles

10am: Coach (£6) leaves Sidmouth sea front opposite Belmont Hotel, EX10 8RX
Start: 10:30am Knapp Copse, Seaton Road, EX10 0QG; SY155957
End: approx 3:30pm Bowd Inn, Bowd Cross, Sidmouth, Devon EX10 0ND; SY107900

Hop aboard the coach at Sidmouth to Knapp Copse. We start by walking through conservation woodland at Knapp Copse local nature reserve with its ancient woodland and species rich grassland. A steep descent takes us into Sidbury; a traditional thatched Devon village with its fine manor house. Heading upwards from Sidbury we reach Fire Beacon Hill with its fabulous panoramic views. Our walk finishes at the Bowd Inn, where our coach awaits to return us to Sidmouth.
