Walking Festival - A Devon Hill Fort 4 miles

Walk 12. A Devon Hill Fort circular 4 miles

Start: 10:30am – End: approx 2pm Sidbury village car park, A375, EX10 0SN; SY138919

Leaving Sidbury, a traditional thatched Devon village that is mentioned in the Domesday Book, we walk up to Sidbury Castle (access to the hill fort is by kind permission of Sir John Cave). Here we will be met by Devon archaeologist Cressida Whitton who will bring this site to life.
