East Devon Forest Plan


The Forest Plan covering the Forestry Commission woodlands across East Devon has been reviewed.  This Plan includes the woodlands of East Hill, Farway, Buckley, Parehayne, Offwell, Morganhayes, as well as Wyld Warren, Monkton Wyld, Whitty Hill, Trinity Hill and Hole Common.

Members of the public are invited to comment on the draft proposals

EAST DEVON FOREST PLAN

As part of an ongoing programme of Plan renewal, the Forest Plan covering the Forestry Commission woodlands across East Devon has been reviewed.  This Plan includes the woodlands of East Hill, Farway, Buckley, Parehayne, Offwell, Morganhayes, as well as Wyld Warren, Monkton Wyld, Whitty Hill, Trinity Hill and Hole Common. The Plan defines the long term vision for the collection of woodlands and sets out proposals for how management will move towards achieving this vision over the forthcoming decades.

The Plan area falls within the parishes of Char Valley, Lyme Regis, Uplyme, Colyton, Southleigh, Offwell, Farway, Sidmouth and Ottery St Mary across East Devon and West Dorset. We welcome your comments on our plans for the future, and proposals can be viewed and feedback can be left online at:

The East Devon AONB was designated in 1963 and is one of 46 AONBs across the UK. A National Association for Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty exists to provide general information about AONBs.
