Leisurely stroll through centuries old meadow at Lucehayne cottage, enjoying the glorious display of three varieties of orchids. See and hear ‘shackle baskets’ rattle in a midsummer breeze. It’s a local name for Yellow Rattle, a clever plant that suppresses the growth of vigorous grasses ensuring wildflower thrive in UKs most threatened habitat.
