Railway stations serving the AONB are located at the towns of Honiton, Axminster and Exmouth and a tramway operates between Seaton and Colyton.

Local community transport initiatives

TRIP Community Transport Association is an umbrella organisation acting as a first contact point for transport enquiries and needs, both for individuals and groups in East Devon . TRIP works with voluntary and community groups and aims to reduce reliance on cars and to promote alternatives.
