Raising awareness about the AONB is really important to us and a big part of encouraging people to support us. As Sir David Attenborough has said, “no one will protect what they don’t care about; and no one will care about what they have never experienced” .

By spreading the word and helping to make people aware of the East Devon AONB – including the places they can enjoy, the nature they can experience, the work we do and the actions or attitudes they can adopt to support our local environment – you can help make a difference.

Part of the Ambassador Pledge asks that ambassadors help to raise awareness of our protected landscape and the work we do and, where applicable:

  • Promote the AONB on your website and literature and use the Ambassador logo

Please do use the East Devon AONB Ambassador logo on your website (if you have one) or if you don’t perhaps you could use it sometime on social media?

Click the logo and ‘right-click’ to save.

Keep up to date and help spread our messages by following, tagging, sharing, liking and retweeting our social media channels – every little bit of awareness helps and it’s great to know you are there!

Linking to our leaflets from your website, emails or social media is a great way to share what the East Devon AONB has to offer. If you are planning an event or wish to stock copies of our leaflets we can also arrange for you to have hard copies.

East Devon Way Guide: Download a 60 page walker’s guidebook for this beautiful 40 mile walk from Exmouth to Lyme Regis through the heart of East Devon AONB. Hard copies also available at £1 cost per copy.

We have a small library of images that you can access as an ambassador. If there’s a specific image you need, get in touch.

Take a look at the short videos below to find out a bit more about the types of projects we are involved in and the landscape we protect – feel free to share!
