September – the month of elderberries and sloes ripening in our hedgerows, busy wildlife making the most of the autumn food glut, and time for our East Devon AONB Partnership Annual Meeting.

Join us for an online AONB Partnership Annual Meeting event, via Zoom.

Our online event means we can connect virtually and still bring people together to learn more about our work in the AONB over the last year and to hear from experts working to protect and enhance the wider natural environment.

Nature connection & recovery

The past twelve months and the various restrictions in place have impacted us all, but they haven’t stopped our projects and those we support from making excellent progress.

We’ll start the event with a review of AONB Partnership projects; including our community engagement and conservation projects that are welcoming positive results.

Rewilding & Collaborative Landscape Conservation

We’ll then be joined by two inspirational guest speakers for presentations and the opportunity to learn more about managing our landscape for conservation.

  • Simon Roper, Ambios Ltd, will introduce the rewilding approach they are taking on the Sharpham Estate and how this can work in a wider Devon.
  • Howard Davies, Chief Executive of the National Association for AONBs, will discuss the importance of an integrated approach to managing places; balancing environmental conservation with the needs of agriculture, forestry, and growing human populations.

Join us online, on Tuesday 28 September 2021

for our zoom event (14.00 – 16:00) and a programme including:
