Idyllic country lanes and bridleways network across East Devon and provide a fantastic opportunity to explore the area on horseback.  

Riding schools in the area offer qualified riding instruction for all ages and abilities. You will need to book your riding lesson in advance and can normally choose to ride for just an hour through to a full day.

Budleigh Salterton Riding School

Providing lessons, hacks, treks, equestrian holidays, riding courses and pony days. Situated on the edge of Woodbury Common in a peaceful country setting.

Offering hacks and lessons from a friendly team of experienced instructors. Beginners and experienced riders can enjoy the wonderful countryside from horse-back.
